With Travel and Emergency Assistance Services1, Civic Visa® business cardholders can travel with less stress, and more support. Get assistance and referrals connecting you, your immediate family member, or your business associates to the services you need.
Travel with peace of mind with these assistance services:
- Emergency Message Service records and relays emergency messages for you or your immediate family members
- Medical Referral Assistance provides you with the names of local English-speaking doctors, dentists, and hospitals; can assign a doctor for you to consult by phone with local medical personnel; can keep you in contact with your family; and help you arrange medical payments from your personal account
- Legal Referral Assistance arranges contact with English-speaking attorneys and U.S. embassies and consulates if you’re detained by local authorities, have a car accident, or need legal assistance
- Emergency Transportation Assistance can help you make the necessary arrangements for emergency transportation for you and your family
- Emergency Ticket Replacement helps you through your carrier’s lost ticket reimbursement process if you lose your ticket, and with the delivery of a replacement ticket
- Lost Luggage Locator Service can help you through the claim procedure of the common carrier, (like the airline or railroad), or can arrange shipment of replacement items if an airline or common carrier loses your checked luggage
- Emergency Translation Services provides telephone assistance in all major languages and can help find local interpreters
- Prescription Assistance and Valuable Document Delivery Arrangements can help you fill or replace prescriptions; arrange pickup and delivery of prescriptions filled for you at local pharmacies; and help transport critical documents you may have left at home
- Pre-Trip Assistance can give you information on your destination before you leave, such as ATM locations, currency exchange rates, weather reports, health precautions, necessary immunizations, and required passport visas
