What membership with Civic means
Civic Federal Credit Union is owned and governed by its members. Your individual or business ownership in Civic is represented by your Civic Savings Account. This account is the foundation of our partnership together and represents your ownership stake in the credit union.
We value you. As a responsible global citizen, banking is a tool we use to further the work of positive social impact and to promote economic and environmental sustainability. As Civic membership increases, so does our collective impact on the communities we serve.
Why should I join Civic?
Life doesn’t happen during traditional business hours, so why should banking have to? Our members want to make decisions about their money – on their time, 24/7/365 with easy-to-use technology and lots of options. Our members need the ability to mix and match solutions to meet their unique needs and reach their definition of success. Sound anything like you?
If so, meet Civic. A digital financial institution created for you and meant to grow along with you. You bring the goals, and we’ll provide the tools to help get you there.
Volunteers - they help those who do good, do more
In addition to volunteering with local government agencies, you can also volunteer for Civic. During the membership process, you’ll be asked to complete a short questionnaire that helps us get better at meeting your needs. And, from time to time – we’ll send you surveys to check on the progress of our improvement or to get your opinion on things. If you’re not a local government employee or related to a person working in that space, this is a great option for you or your business.
