Accidents can happen. And they can be especially stressful — and expensive — when you’re driving a rental vehicle. But you can drive easy knowing that your Civic Visa® business debit or credit card has you covered with Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver¹, at no cost to you.

Get reimbursed for damages caused by theft or collision, up to the actual cash value of most rented cars. (Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver does not cover other types of loss.)

Using your coverage 

To access your collision coverage, use your eligible Visa business card to complete your entire car rental transaction.

Review the rental agreement and decline the rental company’s collision damage waiver (CDW/LDW) option, as accepting their coverage will cancel out your Visa benefit.

If the rental company insists you purchase their insurance or collision damage waiver, call the Visa Benefit Administrator for assistance at 1-800-348-8472. If you’re outside the United States, call collect at 1-804-673-1164. You can also call this number to ask questions about a specific vehicle’s coverage or about the organization where the vehicle is being reserved.
