How to add cash
Bring your cash and your Civic debit card to a local Walmart and stop by the Walmart Money Center or a checkout lane. Then hand the store associate your Civic debit card and the cash to add to your account. They'll swipe your card, and your money will load automatically! Load up to $1,000 per transaction, and up to $1,500 per day. Keep your receipt as proof of your transaction. The retail service fee for each transaction is $3.74, which will be reimbursed by Civic.2

The minimum amount to add is $20, but there’s also a $3.74 charge. That means you would need to provide $23.74 to the Walmart associate to add $20 to your account. Civic will reimburse your account for the $3.74 within two days or less.
Can I choose any Walmart anywhere to add cash to my account?
There are nearly 200 Walmart locations in North Carolina, but a few Walmart stores may not offer the option to add cash to your account. The easiest way to find a participating Walmart is to use the map on this page.
