Jason Rackley

Jason Rackley brings more than 20 years of banking experience to his role as senior loan officer at Civic Federal Credit Union. Jason was raised in Roxboro in Person County and has lived in various towns across the Piedmont, Central and East Carolina.
As a loan officer, Jason works with fire departments, individual fire fighters and their small businesses to provide funding for a range of departmental, personal or business needs.
Jason serves both the Fire Service community and the individual people who are dedicated to it. He helps departments and individuals better serve their communities by saving them money on the nonprofit and consumer lending services provided by Civic. Moreover, Jason provides critical guidance about the lending process to help them obtain firefighting equipment, apparatus and real estate—in addition to solving personal or small business funding gaps.
Prior to joining Civic Federal Credit Union, Jason spent four years at LGFCU as a senior commercial loan officer and held executive management roles at Fidelity Bank. He began his lending career as a junior private banker at Centura Bank, now PNC Bank.
For Jason, Fire Service is all in the family. His father-in-law retired as an Assistant Fire Chief of the Lumberton Fire Department with 29 years of service. In his retirement, his father-in-law serves as a safety officer for the Allenton Volunteer Fire Department in Robeson County. This personal connection gives Jason a strong sense of pride when he sees a financed fire truck in action; knowing he had a part in process of the department getting that life-saving equipment to serve fellow North Carolinians.
Jason is committed to community and volunteers each Sunday at the Garner campus of Hope Community Church. He is a past-president of the Apex Rotary Club and a past board member of waterfowl conservation group, Raleigh Ducks Unlimited. Jason earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from NC State University in Fisheries and Wildlife Management.
When Jason is not helping to support the funding needs of the Fire Service community in Eastern NC, he enjoys hiking, deer hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
