Thousands of bees are living at Civic, and we’re excited about the environmental benefits they bring to the nearby community and beyond.

See what the buzz is about

We partnered with North Carolina-based Bee Downtown to house two honeybee hives at our headquarters. Each hive is home to approximately 40,000 bees. Bees are important to North Carolina's $78 billion agricultural economy. By pollinating just under two thousand acres, they will help our environment, food supply and economy. Plus, honeybees are an indicator species. By studying their overall health, beekeepers gain knowledge of the overall health of the environment and of other native pollinators.
