Civic members participated in the 2024 Annual Meeting, held on March 22 in Durham.
At the meeting, members voted on motions and engaged in discussion with President and Chief Executive Officer Dwayne Naylor and the Civic leadership team. Board officers and committee chairs reported on the performance of Civic in 2023.
Naylor and the leadership team spoke on the state of the credit union, celebrating more than 7,000 members and assets of nearly $120 million.
“We get our strength from our membership base of local government employees and volunteers,” Naylor said. “We’re inspired by their public service, and by tapping into their strengths and talents, together we’re creating an extraordinary credit union that helps build the quality of life in North Carolina.”
Board members elected to serve
As part of the meeting, members voted to re-elect Kellie Blue of Robeson County and Lin Jones of Durham for three-year terms on the Civic Board of Directors.
