Set up alerts

This step-by-step guide is here to help make your Civic experience faster and easier! Your experience may be slightly different than this guide, depending on the device you’re using. If you need additional help, contact us at 844-772-4842.

Device instruction type

1. View accounts dashboard

Once you log in, you will see your accounts dashboard. This screen displays all your Civic accounts and cards, and any external or aggregated accounts you may have set up.

2. Tap ‘More’

At the bottom of your screen, in the navigation menu, tap More.

3. Tap ‘Profile’

From the list, tap Profile. A drop-down menu will appear. From the drop-down menu, select Alerts & Notifications.

4. Tap ‘General Alerts’

This set of alerts will already show as active. You can decide to keep it active or turn it off.

5. Tap the back arrow

Tap the small arrow icon next to the word Alerts.

6. Tap ‘Accounts’

Tap Accounts from the list. On the Accounts page, tap on the Selected Account drop-down and choose the desired account.

7. Select alert trigger from list

From the alert trigger list, choose the alert you want to set up for this account.

8. Choose delivery method

Choose an alert delivery method, either email or a push notification to your phone.

9. Tap ‘Save’

After selecting a method of delivery, tap Save.

10. Turn on desired notifications

Use the menu to activate the alerts you would like to turn on. 

Pro-Tip

Once you tap  Save, you can choose to set up other alert triggers by repeating the process above.

1. View accounts dashboard

2. Navigate to ‘Profile’

In the navigation menu at the top of the page, select Profile. A drop-down menu will appear. In the drop-down menu, click Alerts & Notifications.

3. Click ‘General Alerts’

Once you’re on the Alerts page, choose General Alerts from the options on the left. This set of alerts will already show as active. You can decide to keep it active or turn it off.

4. Click ‘Accounts’

Next, click Accounts in the options on the left. This set of alerts will be specific to the account you choose in the next steps.

5. Click on the ‘Selected Account’ drop-down

On the Accounts page, click on the Selected Account drop-down to choose the desired account.

6. Select alert

After you’ve selected the account, choose the alert you want to receive for this account from the alert trigger list.

7. Choose delivery method

Choose a delivery method for receiving your alert, either email or a push notification to your phone.

8. Click ‘Save’

After selecting a method of delivery, click Save. This will return you to the main Alerts menu. 

Pro-Tip

Once you click Save, you can choose to set up other alert triggers by repeating the process above.
