Set spending limits

Device instruction type

1. View accounts dashboard

Once you log in, you will see your accounts dashboard. This screen displays all your Civic accounts and cards, and any external or aggregated accounts you may have set up.

2. Tap Card Control+

Along the bottom of your screen, in the navigation menu, tap Card Control+.

3. Scroll to Manage Card

Under Manage Card, select Controls & Alerts.

The Controls & Alerts section can be customized to help you reach your financial goals, limit spending and prevent fraud.

4. Tap Spend Limits

To set restrictions on your spending, tap Spend Limits.

5. Move slider to right

Activating this slider will ensure that transactions are denied if they exceed the spending limit you will set in the next step.

6. Tap the amount field

The dollar amount you enter here will be the limit for the card until you turn off this feature. Any attempted transactions over the amount set here will be denied automatically.

1. View accounts dashboard

Once you log in, you will see your accounts dashboard. This screen displays all your Civic accounts and cards, and any external accounts you may have set up.

2. Navigate to Accounts

Along the top of your screen, on the navigation menu, select Accounts. A drop-down menu will appear. From the drop-down menu, Click Card Control+.

3. Click Controls & Alerts

4. Click Spend Limits

This will take you to the next screen.

5. Activate slider

Activating this slider will ensure transactions that exceed the limit you are about to set in the next step will be denied.

6. Click amount field

This is where you will enter the limit. The dollar amount you enter here will be the limit for the card until you turn off this feature. Any attempted transactions over the amount set here will be denied automatically.

7. Click Apply

Click the Apply button to save your spending limit. You can always edit the spending limit later.
